Does anyone use any type of fitness app on their iPhone that would help me get in shape? I'm looking for something that is effective and a good program.

I'm on android so I'm not sure what you can get but so far my favorite has been my tracks (I tried 4-5 different ones)

there are loads. just depends on what you want.

nike training app is awesome. it's free

then you have c25k, b210k which are running ones.

    there is also runkeeper.com, mapmyrun.com

ooh I was planning on asking this question! I'm on Android... I use RunDouble for C25K, and apps like the hundredpushups.com ones (but for free!) and I got this other one that is called "workout trainer" that I haven't really used yet.

Nike Training Club (iPhone) - circuit
Workout Trainer (Android/iPhone) - circuit, weights, yoga
    BodyRock (Android/iPhone) - HIIT
GAIN Fitness (iPhone) - strength, yoga (with paid expansion)
    RunKeeper (Android/iPhone) - run/walk/bike gps tracking
    Fleetly (iPhone) - circuit/strength
iFitness (iPhone, costs $1.99) - strength

Nike Training Club is great circuit training, with a trainer that tells you what to do.

Workout Trainer is similar but (in my opinion) more flexible since you can make your own routines. Search Workout Trainer for things like "bodyrock" or "30 day shred" and you'll find that other users have transposed those workouts into the app (I do new BodyRock ones usually within a day of release).

If you get just 1 get Workout Trainer (friend me if you'd like, I post circuit and HIIT routines a few times a week and try to add supportive comments and like to friends' activity, search my MFP username + gmail).

I'd love to see more and hear reviews. I'm a big nerd so I love fitness apps!
