Truth hurts. These people are looking for someone to tell them it's ok to do poorly. If your goal is to be healthy a daily wine routine isnt the way. "working out" doesn't automatically qualify most MFP memebers to give sound advice on diet and fitness. The REAL answer is its inappropriate to drink 200 cals of wine everyday no matter how many burpees u do
Jeez, you've just made my wife look very good, thanks for saving my marriage!0 -
way I Figure it, if Jesus' first miracle was turning water into wine, then how bad can wine really be? I don't care to drown in the bottle, but I sure intend to have a glass on occasion with no guilt0

I've tried to get into the habit of NOT SITTING DOWN while I'm on the phone to him. I march or jog on the spot. I don't always log that as exercise, but I'm sure it burns a few calories without me feeling that I've done anything extra. If I logged it I'd have enough for a glass of wine. So maybe just bits of moving around, when you otherwise would have been sitting, will be enough to have the wine without even having to cut down on food.
love this 'way of life'- I do this all the time, and I think it really helps!0 -

Why is it inappropriate? You are making some very strong and absolute statements about health, it would be good to hear your evidence?
Seeing as the 'expert' isn't interested in responding, here is an interesting science-based answer to my question. It is written by Alan Aragon, who I soncider to be a pretty good source.

Thanks for the article. I'm not a drinker, but that was an interesting article with solid references. Thank you for posting it!
No worries :-)0
