Tried this 200 cal ...30 min treadmill routine and love it !

I discovered this the other day on the net .... If u are like me and just can't handle the high speed stuff , I can't stand the feeling of trying to catch my breath ....makes me nuts . :laugh: I do this twice and it feels like my butts gonna fall off . :wink: <---- I wish .... It keeps my mind busy and I don't get as bored :drinker:

0-2 minutes = 2 mph
at 2 min mark = 2.4 mph +2% incline
at 4 min mark = 2.6 mph +4% incline
at 6 min mark = 2.8 mph +6% incline
at 8 min mark = 3 mph +8% incline
at 10 min mark = 3 mph +10% incline. Do this for 4 mins

whewww now time to cool down !!!!!!

at 14 min mark = 3 mph +8% incline
at 16 min mark = 3 mph +6% incline
at 18 min mark = 3 mph +4% incline
at 20 min mark = 3 mph +2% incline

Now time to speed it back up . Did you really think u were gonna get off this easy :happy:

at 22 min mark = 3.5 mph +0% incline.Do this for 5 mins
at 27 min mark = 3 mph
at 28 min mark = 2.5 mph
at 29 min mark = 2 mph

Woooohoooo now stretch it out !!!! :drinker:

    So on a treadmill 4% is just 4 right?

    4% is the incline not the speed

    I know, but you know how on the treadmill the inclines aren't by percentage, but just numbers (at my gym anyway), so an incline of 8% would be 8 on the incline button? Thanks

    Wow !! That's confusing. My way is much more fun. Just set your radio dial to your favorite Rock 'n Roll channel. Not all the songs have the same beat so it's easy to adjust my pace to the music. Works out pretty well. You can slow it down during the commercials and speed back up when the music starts. I also randomly adjust the incline to accomodate the pace. :smokin:

    Not to say your idea isn't a good one, it's just not for me. Too much thinking involved.......:bigsmile:

    Its really not confusing at all I found it to be the easiest ......just write at the ---- min this % and tape it on wall to keep track :laugh: its fun give it a try lol
