How should I chose my calorie goal?

Hi! There´s two options. 1) Go with the calculations from MFP. 2) Calculate your BMR and TDEE (for instance on fitnessfrog.com, in the rubric calculaters. It also explains what it means) withdraw 20% from your TDEE and stay somewhere in between of the two numbers (BMR and TDEE.) If you go with the MFP calculater, make sure to log in exercise and eat back the calories if you can. If you go with the TDEE, your calories from workout is already calculated in, so you don´t have to log it. It would be like loggin it twice. Just a suggestion, I´m sure you will find a lot of different opinions in here.0

For all of us it's a matter of learning what works for our own bodies. I'd suggest trying out one of the two methods above and sticking with it for a week or two to see if it's right for you.0
