No
If you entered your age, height, weight, and activity level correctly, MFP will calculate your caloric needs to lose 1-2 lbs a week based on what you entered as your desired loss per week.
1200 calories would be acceptable if you laid in bed 24 hours and only breathed.0 -
Oh ok so how much do I need0

My weight loss stalled at 1200 cal/day. Believe it or not, eating more - my scale moved down. My general rule of thumb is that I eat half the calories I earn exercising. So if I earn 500 calories exercising, I eat 250 of them.0

You should eat back the calories that you burn during exercise if you are only eating 1200 a day.0

I've switched to his recommendations (links he provided to figure out on my own) and I've lost 3.5 lbs in almost 2 weeks. I was eating 1200 calories, exercising daily and not eating all burned back and stalled starvation mode). I upped to 1790 and I'm losing.0 -
