Is 1200 calories enough if I exercise?

Please help me, I exercise around 4 times a week, I like to run around 4k a session then go on the x trainer then do an abs blast.

Is 1200 calories alot or not?

    No

If you entered your age, height, weight, and activity level correctly, MFP will calculate your caloric needs to lose 1-2 lbs a week based on what you entered as your desired loss per week.

1200 calories would be acceptable if you laid in bed 24 hours and only breathed.

My weight loss stalled at 1200 cal/day. Believe it or not, eating more - my scale moved down. My general rule of thumb is that I eat half the calories I earn exercising. So if I earn 500 calories exercising, I eat 250 of them.

You should eat back the calories that you burn during exercise if you are only eating 1200 a day.

I've switched to his recommendations (links he provided to figure out on my own) and I've lost 3.5 lbs in almost 2 weeks. I was eating 1200 calories, exercising daily and not eating all burned back and stalled starvation mode). I upped to 1790 and I'm losing.
