Happy TGIF Team!!

Will go with MissVitaVonCherry's challenge idea...and you all can do as she suggests or your own format! It is an exercise challenge, kind like a circuit workout ~

25 pushups
25 jumping jacks
25 situps
25 squats

** not sure I have Miss V's exact formula, but you get the drift right? **

am lovin' this one Miss V...and you do not look like 289 in that pic, and have come so far girly! :flowerforyou:

will post more in a couple of hours!

here's Miss V's
Miss KELLY- Im suggesting that fornext week we all try to do mini work out :
25 sit up s
25 jumping jax
25 push ups
OR whatever you can do, but try to do it daily:)

    Hi Peppers ... I'm such a confused puppy ... for some reason I thought we were doing the minutes challenge every week ... aren't we? Isn't there some chart or something? My choice of exercise is hiking so I use that time to focus, clear my mind, and meditate ... so I guess I did the meditation challenge without even realizing it. Anyway ... here's a report for this week.

    I lost 1 lb. (LW 177 lbs.) (CW 176 lbs.)
    Total minutes of exercise for the week = 623 minutes (or 10 hours and 36.67 minutes) thanks to my Tobermory weekend.

    Morning ladies!

    Just checked the last thread and WOW Miss VVC - you look fabulous!!! Great motivation.

    I'm up .4 this week. Figured I would be due to my vaca last weekend. Only got in two runs this week, too much going on with my girls - so total exercise minutes 120.

    Last week weight - 139.8 - this week 140.2. (dont think I'd mind it so much if it wasn't for the fact that I'm straddling 140 - I was hoping to be done with the 140's. Oh well, all good things in time :)

    Good Morning Ladies:

    I lost 2 pounds so now i am at 200 .... one more pound and i will be out of the 200's YAY havent been out of the 200's in yearssssssss . 1365 minutes of excercise(16 day total)

    Miss V you looks amazing .........keep up the awesome job :flowerforyou:

    I weighed in this morning at 231. Another lb bites the dust!!! I only got in 120 minutes of exercise last week. :grumble: I promise to do better next week. I'm posting my exercise plans for the week so maybe I'll stick with them.

    Friday - just donated blood :heart: can't exercise:ohwell:
    Saturday - Race for the Cure 5K (45-60 min)
    Sunday - bike ride (at least 60 min)
    Monday - bike ride (60 min) stregth training (30 min)
    Tuesday - C25K (30 min)
    Wednesday - bike ride (60 min) stregth training (30 min)
    Thursday - rest

    I will also do my walk at lunch 3 days (45 minutes) and then our challenge for the week (?? min).

    Good Morning Pepper's
    Did ok this week last week's weight was 196 today 195 (1pound loss), 324 min. of exercise, got at least 2 veggies in everyday and all my fruits, I got the water down too. :laugh: My walks I use as me time, I know its exercise but I do it by myself and enjoy it.

    Great everyone seams to be loosing. Like the new challenge, will start tonight when I get home. I have to change things up again. I want to keep loosing and that seams to work best.

    I will check back in later when things slow down around here.

    hey all ~

    well, i gained a LOT this week. wt this am was 179.2, that is up 5.2 lbs :noway: and even higher than i started the month at. UGH!! i have really only had 3 good "clean" days, and the rest, well, 'crappy' eatin'. we have eaten out twice this week which is very unusual for us, and yesterday it was Mexican, which i have not done (out) for many months. yup, i know what i was bad on, and will have to try harder and be more focused.....along with planning and prepping, and gettin in that 'me' time whether it is to exercise or just refresh my soul.....

    looks like you guys all had a good week. happy for ya!! i am gonna be more commited again, and will hopefully have a loss in a week. Aunt Flo is sure to stop by soon, so will just have to stay the course thru her visit....

    magglett ~ YES, we are still doing the exercise challenge, it is the team one we are workin towards 200 hours for a month ( 9/25 > 10/25. ), like 9 days away and we're finished. you are doing awesome and puttin up some great numbers girl!! :drinker:

    m2kjenn~ .4 is really nothing. i find that i am in a wt class (90's, 80's, etc) for about 6-8 weeks. slow n steady wins the race!! :flowerforyou:

    megan ~ YIPPY for you!! look out 90's here comes Megan!! :bigsmile: what a great feeling for you!!

    Crystal ~ keep at it girly!! you've got a nice plan for the next week and exercise!! i have had high chol/trig since i was a teen. when i was at my heaviest wt, 231 and very sedentary, like napping during the day, eating horrible, my trigs were almost 600!! :noway: that was seven years ago. i tried for a few years to get my chol down, and the rest of the lipids with diet and exercise, finally my cardiologist said, you're goin on meds. i was so scared before then and he was worried i would have a stroke, so now i am at ease, and on the lowest dose and my numbers are on the very low end of normal. good luck and i hope you can stay off the meds!!

    drivin to away footbal tonite. season coming to an end next week. Nov is my slower 'bus' month with not much activity driving. that is when i like to get house projects done, plus i know my mom is wanting me to paint for them. will check in again before my route. yeah for the weekend!

    Wt 251.8 up a couple of pounds, no excuses, I know whay and I am gonna try my best to do better this week. 30 min exercise is all I got this week.
  • Hi All! i'm up one this week at 147.5lbs and got in 120 minutes of exercise. i also lost my job yesterday, so i'm trying to not stress eat....i plan to direct all of my stress into working out!!

    So sorry to hear that, :flowerforyou: I hope you are able to find one soon. Directing stress into working out is good. I will be praying you find one quickly.

    :drinker: Didn't do well on the exercise this week :( lotsa rain and what not, and didn't end up going to the gym, but got some walking in there. so 100mins exercise:grumble:
    Did ok on the H20
    did wonderfully on the F&V (LOL)
    and I got rid of a pound so I am at 219 (YEAH!!!!! out of the 20's hopefully FOREVER)

    Thanks. Usually when I'm bummed, I eat...this time, I'm so bummed that I am having trouble getting all of my calories in. My partner bought me an ice cream sandwich the other day (he is usually very supportive of my diet, but thought this was a special occasion) and it has been sitting in the freezer ever since. how sad...i don't even want ice cream :sad:

    oh well! i know that working out will help me perk up. i really, really, really want to get some exercise outside today, but it has been absolutely pouring all morning...I'm hoping it will at least ease up this afternoon.

    hope everyone is having a great weekend!!

    ** OK PEPPER'S ** WE HAVE 8 DAYS UNTIL OCT 25TH, WHEN OUR TEAM EXERCISE CHALLENGE IS OVER.....60 HOURS ARE NEEDED!! LET'S DO THIS! TRY TO GET A WORKOUT IN AT LEAST 4-5 DAYS THIS WEEK, AND PUSH YOURSELF!! GO GREEN! :drinker:

    So went shopping, and had to buy new pants! INA SMALLer SIZE yay! Very happy, then I came home and made cookies :):laugh: Oatmeal/rasin/flaxseed/chocolatechip :bigsmile: I had one! and that is all i am having!
    Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Went to go skating today and they were rained out basically:indifferent:
  • patience paid off today!! after most of a day of wind and pouring rain, it finally cleared enough for me to get in a quick run around the neighborhood. yay. i am so glad that i got off my butt and did it...would have been really easy to make excuses instead.
  • Sorry I didn't check in on Friday. My son didn't have school so I was busy with him all day. My weight was 208.2 on Friday and I exercised for 660 minutes for the week. I didn't get to the gym on Friday a usual so I am going to have to go twice a day all five days next week to meet my goal of 630 minutes per week. Wish me luck. Today was my husband's birthday so I baked him his favorite dessert, a key lime pie. I didn't turn out as well as it did last year. I don't know what I did differently.

    I have to go get my last two loads of laundry fold so I can go to bed. I hope you all have a great night.

    I had a great weekend. I did the Race for the Cure 5K saturday with my sister. We had a blast. There were all sort of people in crazy costumes. Some of the team slogans were so cute "Hooters on Scooters" from the local Harley Davidson dealer and "Cop a Feel" from some local police. Too funny!! Yesterday, the hubby and I went for an 80 minute bike ride. Feeling great!!

    Total exercise so far this week - 170 minutes.

    This week end was a lot of running around. I started my new work out dvd and did 25 min on sat. and 40 min on sunday. I went over my calories on sat. but I expected too. Trying to mix things up a bit. My dvd did all the sit ups, push ups and things so I know I got those in. Did not do well on fruits:grumble: drank all my water and my veggies for a change :laugh:

    Happy Monday Peppers~

    busy week here...have bus trip today ( a deliver and return only ), tomorrow is 1/2 day and the end of our 1st quarter, plus pickup son's Sr. pic's, and then take our V volleyball to conference later ( will have to DVR BL ), Wed we get our new mattress delivered!! Thurs will be my errands day/groceries and Fri is our last football game, a trip almost 2 hrs one way!

    so far today is going good, soakin some beans now to cook up later, fruits and veggies ready, and water going good. will work out here soon. was kinda ill over the weekend with some throat gunk. dizzy Sat am, tired, sorethroat, achy....weird. still have not rec'd my flu shot yet......

    miss V ~ you still doing your jog/run too? i am thinkin i need to get some more aerobic activity ( well, more intense) goin. can't seem to get into the c25k mood..

    artichoke ~ yeah for your run!! bet you felt great afterwards!

    ammcnett ~ key lime pie sounds yummy! :tongue:

    crystal ~ congrats on the 5k!! sounds like you had a great time with your sister! and a nice bike ride too w/dh!!

    It is aerobic and yoga, the only exercise I have been doing for the past year is walking. Well I have to say I am very sore today, found muscles I forgot I had :laugh: I will jot down the name it is good for diabetic's. I love it when I get a little stronger I may do the daily workouts, but once or twice on the week end with my daily M-F walks are enough to start with.

    it's been such a difficult time for me. I'm not sure where to begin or what to say.

    bottom line, one of my children became violent & I was on the receiving end.

    Needless to say, my family needs are top priority.

    I'm still doing as much workouts as I can .... my food choices or calorie intake hasn't been the best.

    Last week I had 220 minutes of exercise.
