Anyone else eating every 3 hours?

In my research efforts to see how to increase my metabolism, numerous articles stated that eating every 3 hours ..with 12 hours between last meal and rising.....would increase metabolism. Im having good luck so far....but also added 20-30 min of treadmill 5x week. I have a range of 1350-1500 calories a day..........and usually dont eat back my exercise calories..which is probably OK as long as I get in 1400 calories if I have exercised.
