So I hate cardio. I always have. I don't like to walk. I don't like to run. Inside. Outside. It doesn't matter. Treadmill, Eliptical, ARC trainer, Stepmill, bike...boring! So I don't do it. This is what I do.

I choose several exercises and put together a cross fit type workout or circuit. I get my heart rate up, a sweat a disgusting amount. I burn a lot of calories. I increase strength. I work my full body.

Today I did this...

Weighted Squats 45 lbs x 10
Burpees x 10
Mountain Climbers x 30 seconds
Jumping Jacks x 30 seconds
Bicycle Crunches x 30 seconds

I repeated that circuit 5 straight times through and then I rested to a full recovery. When my heart rate came down...

Jump Squats x 30 seconds
Reverse froggers x 30 seconds
Pushups x 10
Gate squats x 30 seconds
V ups x 30 seconds

I repeated that circuit 5 straight times through and then I rested to a full recovery. When my heart rate came down...

I repeated both 3 times through and rested. And that was the end of my cardio workout. I pushed some heavy things around and called it a day. So if traditional cardio equipment bores you, but you want to incorporate cardio into your workouts.. try this. It's real fun to make your own training workouts too. :)

How long does this take you? I am looking for quick 15 minute workout. If I do this, along with my brisk walk each day...hmmmm

Sounds kind of like a bodyrock workout! I've incorporated bodyrock into my exercise routine and am enjoying it!

depending on how long you make the circuit you could easily do it in 15 minutes. I was at the gym today for a total of 45. I talked to a friend for 10 of it.. I worked this circuit for 20 prolly.. and benched/deadlifted/shoulder pressed and streched. :)
