Hello, I moved to KC MO 2 weeks ago, I was wondering if anyone knew of a park that had a decent walking path. I have a double stroller to take with me sometimes, so I need something paved. I visited Macken park on recommendation, but wondering what else is out there. Also, anyone needing a walking partner or anything like that feel free to add me.

i use walkjogrun.net to create a route around areas that i am familiar with, my neighborhood, near work, etc. and it gives you satellite image so you can see if it is paved or not. It lets you know time, calories burned, and distance.
Hope this helps, i have been able to find parks near by that i didn't know about. but i am in texas, so can't really answer for kansas.0 -
My sister in law lives there and she goes to the school track. You know exactly what your walking. Might get boring but could be a change up.0

It depends on the area. Mill Creek park by the Country Club Plaza is nice. There is also Penguin Park thats north of the River. There is a lake that you can walk around. You can also walk around Berkley Park. Its across from Isle of Capri Casino. The city built a walking trail next to the Missouri River.0

I go to Loose Park but it sounds like you are up North so this might not help you. My roommate goes to the track at the Plaza too, lots of people so very safe!0

jayg1024 just stole my thunder, I was going to say up north English Landing and Macken Park are great! I used to live in NKC and would walk at Macken all the time. Nice trail, not scary, always lots of families around etc. I live in south KC now and I usually go over to JoCo to walk on their trails. I walk on the Trolley Trail sometimes but only during the day when a lot of people are out. It's a great trail but there was a woman raped there a couple of months ago. If you can afford it, the community center in NKC is great! They have in an indoor walking trail, tons of machines, basketball court, full pool with water aerobic classes and swimming lanes. I wish they had something similar in the southland.0

I just walked the Line Line Creek trail, there are a couple of hills but there are trailheads at the Line Creek Community Center and at 64th and Daggett Rd0
