They're a quick lunch. I've eaten em but man oh man, sodium is high on those suckers0

Considering what I was eating before I think they are a great starter food to get you in the hang of eating healthier. I dont mind the sodium because really, they're about half what my old meals were.0
-
Should theyt be used more for just like a snack or full lunch, like the one said the Sodium is really high in them.0

I guess it depends on how many calories you eat in a day. MFP has mine set at 1510. So i don't really like to use so many calories for a snack. I eat them as my whole lunch with like a string cheese or something.0
-
MFP has my calories at 26000

I eat them every now and then...But they're not very filling..I'm usually hungry again in about an hour.0

Never tried them, but..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-i9GXbptog :laugh:0

If you have a Lean Pocket and some veggies or something, you've got yourself a sensible lunch.0 -
I don't think we have them in Australia. Never heard of them.0

They taste like salt and nothing else.0

IMO - Blech
Lean Pockets are a waste of calories and I'm still hungry after eating one. I'd go for an Amy's or Evol burrito over Lean Pockets any days as they're more filling.
My husband likes to call them "Diarrhea Pockets" LOL0 -

What the best one to get out of the lean pockets? This I'm just asking people's favorites.0

Not worth the calories for me. Not filling and not really any flavors I like...0

Being short on money, Lean Pockets are a great choice for me while I'm working on my portion control issues. When I get off work at 1, 2, even 3 am, a lean pocket hits the spot and keeps me from going to sleep hungry. I like the meatball and 4 cheese.0

Exactly! I would much rather eat a salad than anything else, but if I want quick convenience food, I'll choose an Amy's burrito rather than a Lean Pocket - too much sodium and not nearly enough taste.0 -
I love the spinach and three cheese, however I guess it is time to give them a rest. I do get full off one when I add cauliflower or broccoli with it. I have been eating one everyday for lunch for months0

Better off getting some tortilla wraps or your own pittas and making your own up with some tuna, carrot, peppers, lettuce etc.0

My opinion is yuck. I just don't find them to taste very good..0

I know the fast angle is a big draw but the sodium and unintelligible ingredients scare me off.
I've been trying to reduce our processed foods so these went bye-bye a couple of years ago. I buy whole wheat pitas, turkey pepperoni or deli ham, fat free cheeses, crushed tomatoes, shredded veggies and make hot pockets myself. If youre selective about ingredients and use lots of veggies you can have a satisfying sandwich. I keep pre cut veggies all the time anyway so I just use some of our regular staples.0 -
yum
but you will get the people going AHHOMGSODIUM.0 -
