Power Plate - Log calories or not?

Hi guys! :)

My mum has recently bought a power plate to build up her bone density and I thought I could use it as well to build up my muscles! I've been doing exercises on the machine rather than just standing on it and I'm doing jogging, zumba and using the elliptical trainer as cardio alongside this.

I don't really understand how you can burn like 300 calories in 15 minutes on these vibro machines so I am very reluctant to log the calories that I burn when using this. I do however believe that it can help to build up your muscles.

So my question is... do you think that I should be logging the calories that I supposedly burn or just treat it as strength training and not consider the calories burnt?

Thanks for your advice :)

I would also be relectant, 300 calories over 15 minutes sounds like a lot for any exersice.

I would count it as strength training and be pleasently suprised if you loose extra because of it.
