My first NSV

Ok. So today doesn't mark my first. My first was two days ago when I walked about a total of a mile just for the sake of getting off my butt. I practically ran to the top of the biggest hill in town I was so pleased with myself! I don't like to exercise. But I'm getting better.

And today, I made a quick bowl of ramen noodles. I was hungry. They were there. As I'm taking the first bite, I was putting it into my MFP. I got so discusted by what came up, I didn't finish it. I just stared at it. I figure I ate about a half of a serving, and the rest went to the trash. Blah. And I used to like those things. Thank you MFP for saving me from myself!!!

Smart of you to trash it !

I love this site & even my husband's been asking me to check & see how many calories are in something ..... we're both losing weight, so something's working !

Maybe you could try those shirataki noodles ..... found near the tofu ...... they're a little weird & you have to rinse them REALLY well ..... we've used them in a stirfry, not bad when mixed with lots of veggies :drinker:

    Keep on truckin' !

Thanks. I feel smart. Lol I love this site too. I'm more addicted to it now than Facebook. Haha.

The bad part is I went to Save-A-Lot a few days ago and got my fiancé frozen sandwhiches and things that he can just throw in and nuke for lunch when he gets home from work. He picked them out (as he is laughing at me for telling him that I don't want the things I usually eat because they have too many calories in them). Then he gets on the scale last night decided that he wanted to get on MFP too. But I would much rather eat a huge salad than to eat stuff like that. And I will have to try and get him into it too. Hopefully he will be having some NSVs of his own. :)
