I did my gym induction today.. and a 45 min workout after.

I've been working out with my girlie weights at home (large reps / low weight) in 30 Day Shred and some local strength training girlie classes but am in mind to change this method in line with guys and New rules for lifting for women..

I am not 100% sure on the free weights yet though - just nerves I know and I will challenge this when I get more comfy but the machines have a lot of weight on them and I was up to 20-30kg on them all so happy with that for starters. this was for sets of 8, but only 2 sets as was cramming it in after the induction.

Anyways, wondered if there are any great plans out there for beginners or if New rules for lifting is the best plan to go with? My gym will sort me out a plan when I'm a full member in a week but for now I'm on free lifting. :)

Any advice really appreciated.

new rules is good, but i hear it gets complicated
I'd start basic - stronglifts or starting strength
