Need broccoli cheese sauce recipe
One of my clubs is having a baked potato bar soon, and I volunteered to bring broccoli with cheese sauce to go on the potatoes. My goal is to make one that tastes really good, but I can eat it without too many calories or fat. Any ideas?

When I make cheese sauce, I use flour, Olivio margarine, skim milk and reduced fat cheese. It's not the healthiest thing in the world because..well it's cheese sauce! But it's as healthy as I can get it lol.
2 tablespoons low fat margarine, I use Olivio
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup milk, I use skim
1 1/2 shredded cheese, I use 2% fat
salt and pepper, to taste
Melt butter in pan, add flour; stir until smooth. Add milk slowly, stirring then add cheese, stir till melted.0 -
Thanks. I think I may try adding some lowfat cream cheese also, who knows?0

That could work, also I'm sure you know this anyway but as a rule of thumb any "cream" sauce is just not healthy lol.0
