I heard so much about the health benefits of flaxseed so I went and bought a bag of Organic raw whole Flaxseed. Any ideas what I can do with it?

Thanks in advance! :)

The health benefits come out most when you grind it (Magic Bullet/Coffee Grinder). It's virtually tastless, throw is in with any baking (even brownies) or on top of casseroles and cereal.

I grind it, and then put it on cereal, in yogurt, on salads...
  • Replace eggs with flax seeds in baking. Mix 1 T flax seeds with 3 T water and let it set up for 15 minutes.

I put it on salads and in smoothies. I use a pepper mill to grind mine!

Awesome! Trying the egg replacement now! Ground it up in my magic bullet! Thanks for that!
So can I use it as a flour substitute when it's ground?

I'd like to know about this. I wonder if you could use it to coat chicken or fish like a breading?

I have seen recipes that mix it in with other items, like flour, panko or fiber one cereal. Have not tried it yet though.
