A little confuse

I've been away from MFP for a while, and slowly starting to get back at it. I worked out very lightly before, and mostly went on a strict diet. It worked, but I have more free time now to add exercise. I'd like to lose 2 lbs a week, but I'm content with even just 1 lbs each week.
Now, I'm getting sort of confused about how I go about it. If I exercise and say lose around 700-1000 calories a day. Do I need to eat all of them back? My BMR is 1345, so do I eat that my BMR + all the calories I burned?
If you have any good sites with more information I'd really appreciate it as well.

Given your BMR, 2lbs a week is an unrealistic goal. It can happen, but it won't be of fat.
Let MFP do the calculations for you, setting for 1lb a week.
Manually set protein intake to 25%.
Eat back your exercise calories (50% to 75% of them).
And drink plenty of water. Lots.0
