Ration food during the day?

Just wondering how you divide up your calories over the day, we tend to eat large breakfasts and lunch is our main meal,. I know that is a healthy way to eat but it's frustrating when I have so few calories left at nite. Do you puposely plan to have so many calories for each meal or just adjust as the day goes on? I think I need to plan out my day better.

I eat a small breakfast and lunch and save most of my calories for dinner. It is not any better to have a big breakfast... it's just down to what works for you.

I actually prelog most of my meals and snacks. But, I chose to eat them whenever I am hungry. Some times I log something under breakfast that I do not end up having until the afternoon.

Small breakfast with a giant coffee that takes me most of the morning to drink. I really don't get hungry in the morning, but I try to get my metabolism going at least.

~500 calories at lunch but usually half at 11am and half at 2pm

Leaves me with plenty of calories for a snack when I get home from work and then dinner

I don't eat breakfast (except for my protein shake because I work out at 5 am), I have a <800 calorie lunch, then between 6:30 pm and 9:30 pm I eat about 2200 calories and go to bed full. Meal timing will not hamper your weight loss.

I prefer to eat at night so I do.

This is what I do, too. I try to save/log most of my calories for dinner, though, because I like to feel nice and full when I go to bed at night.
