SO, nothing has changed. we went on vacation a few weeks ago, and i raised my calorie goal to only losing 1/2 pound per week. lost a about 4/10s on vacation, back home, started working out again, back to normal calorie intake and BAM lost about 2.5 pounds in the last 2 weeks. so i was really really excited for my weigh in today, only to find i weigh 3 pounds MORE than last week. i'm not sure what has happened. my mind tells me i cannot have actually gained 3 pounds in a week, heck i haven't eaten 3 pounds in calories this week.
just wondering if/ what i can do, or if i just need to wait and see what happens.
this is the FIRST time i have gained weight on a weigh day. granted i have not lost much, or not lost any..... but gaining weight is a NO GO. and i'm stressing it.

  • Could it be close to that time of the month?

    Salt? TOM? Heat and humidity=water?

You were doing great. It sounds like a fluke.
  • no that time of the month.....

could be salt. i drank about a gallon of water yesterday, and had to get up twice in the middle of the night to go pee.... and now i'm close to where i was.

Last week you had low sodium (artificially pushing weight down), this week high sodium (artificially pushing weight up).

So, when it said 2.5lbs loss, maybe was just 1lb loss in reality (1.5lb loss in water), so now you lost another pound, but put on water weight, negating and even reversing losses.

This is just ONE possible reason. There are many!
