Starting very small

Anyone not have any time and very little in the way of wanting to get motivated???? Well I sure did but I heard on the radio one day you gotta start somewhere. So I started by doing 8 pushups cause that's all I could do. Did it in the morning just after brushing my teeth took like 30 seconds.

Every day I'd tried to do one more and then started doing some sit ups when I needed a break for my chest, arms and back from the push ups.

Well it worked really helped to motivate me and I've gotten much stronger at it. 5 weeks later and I can do 55 pushups as of this morning. Tracking my food via mfp to stay under 1700 calories a day and I've dropped 8 pounds in 4 weeks.

YOU GOTTA START SOMEWHERE!!!!! Good words of advice I'm glad I was listening to the radio that day. Somehow as you do a little bit it motivates you to want to do more. Anyone struggling to get motivated try to do 1 pushup or 1 leaning on a counter if you can't do 1 just try to do something.

Hope someone gets a little motivation like I did 18 pounds down and 12 to go to make my first goal then another 15 more after that and I'm at my high school weight. Here's to staying true

Thank you, this is exactly what I needed to hear tonight. I often forget that this is exactly what I did for my cardio routine, and have had a very hard time motivating to do strength exercise because "I don't know where to start".

I think you just told me!

    Thanks.
