Somersizing...ANyone successful?

So I have just heard about Somersizing. It sounds good to me. I am going to check the books out at the Library. I know of one mom who has had great success. Has anyone else done it and lost weight?

I lost 18# in a month about 16-17 years ago, when I was in my mid 40's. It was pretty easy eating that way, and I don't see anything wrong with it. I just didn't stick with it, nor was I combining it with any particular ongoing exercise.

Never heard of it, just did a quick Google search.

Honestly? IMO it looks like a lot more effort than it's worth. I believe in moderation, rather than restriction (Believe and practise aren't always the same thing, lol). No dairy? No corn? No potatoes? No go. Looks like another version of the Dukan Diet (which I failed at).

But hey, if it works for you. Just because it's not something that would fit into my personal philosophy, doesn't mean it can't work for others.

No there is a stage 2 that you maintain the weight. You can have nonfat milk, which is what what we drink already. ANd she recommends cream instead of the other stuff.
