Why am I so bloated!!

I feel like I'm bloated for no reason. I ALWAYS watch my sodium intake and keep it around 1500 mg a day. I haven't drank alcohol in, um... 3-4 days, haha. It's not that time of the month. Granted I could drink more water but why would I bloat in the first place?

you could be intolerant to something that you are eating.

try cutting out dairy or gluten for a while. process of elimination

Drink heaps of water, but the last time I was like that I was on the pill and it just didn't agree with me, I WAS their list of symptoms, it was horrible (and its part of the reason I have weight to lose)

I agree, you could be intolerant to something. I cut out red meat because my body doesn't process it well. Some of us go to the bathroom every few days, but if that's not regular for you, I'd get some metamucil or something.

Are you stressed? I have IBS and feel especially bloated when I have a lot going on - I might not feel under stress but if I rush about I get the horrible bloated feeling. I find Activia / Actimel yoghurts help, as does peppermint tea. Also try and eat really slowly - makes you feel fuller quicker as well so you tend not to eat as much, bonus really!!!

Are you drinking diet sodas or anything carbonated? Anything carbonated kept me bloated, even though I was drinking massive amounts of water. So I cut out the carbonation within days I went down in inches and a week later I was down 5 pounds..

Your diary isn't giving much clues - are you filling it out every day? If so, then you can analyse and see what sorts of foods trigger a bloated feeling. For me, it's bread products, cream, and sugar. But everyone is different. Use your diary to get that data!
