I think I finally understand MFP. Do I?

I've been going with a BMR, TDEE scientific thing and didn't really understand how MFP works, telling people to eat under their BMR.
Well I think I fully understand now and wanted to double check with you all.
When you sign up MFP calculates your BMR and TDEE and depending on if you select wanting to lose 1 pound a week or 2, subtracts that number (500 for a pound, 1000 for two) from each day. It doesn't subtract it from your BMR, it subtracts from your TDEE (maybe that part isn't right but I know it doesn't subtract from your BMR)
Anyway, you don't eat less than your BMR. If you do things this way, you're manually adding that you're eating back your exercise calories.
MFP tells you your net calories is Total calories consumed (which is doesn't actually tell you.) - exercise calories burned. So mine is to eat 1200 but exercise wise I burn 560 a day through light activity. So really, 1200+560=1760 is what I should EAT total. If I eat 1760 calories a day, above my BMR, but exercise to burn 560 a day, I will lose 1.6lbs a week.
Dang. is that how it works? I wish it would tell you how much you'd have to eat without already subtracting the exercise lol. Bah.
The more I think about this the more it turns into a vicious circle. Now I'm wondering if you knew your TDEE (mine being 2200).. I'm just going to stop worrying lol.
