hi folks! i'm new to facebook--but it keeps shutting down my internet explorer.
we did the ms office updates and lowered security settings, but this still happens.

does this happen to you? what am i doing wrong?

any advice appreciated.

    I had exactly the same problem, think it's shocking that Facebook can't help fix this. SOLUTION - uninstall Adobe Flash Player and the problem will be fixed. Did this just now and the Home page is fine. Definitely frustrating I agree!

    my daughter has to use google chrome and not internet explorer to use facebook.

    It happens to me as well. I usually use Firefox to run FB, that works great!
