New, doing something kinda different

Hello everyone, I'm Amanda from NC. I'm a 28 year old mother of 4 and I've always been underweight. I'm 5'7 and weigh only 125lbs. But I've been doing P90X the past 37 days and I've got up to 134lbs I've joined myfitnesspal to help me gain weight but healthy and muscle. I don't wanna be a body builder of course lol just more my own weight and less body fat, my body fat is at 25 right now. So I'm here to gain weight instead of loss it but I'm here to support anyone either way! I'm also working out with my gf :) she is trying to loss weight :) and I support and love her very much no matter what :) I'm behind her 100%.

If you like a pal you can add me and message me :)

There are a lot of women on here that have an overall goal of fitness, not weight loss, so you should be in good company. I definitely need to lose the weight but am trying to get there with increased exercise and a better diet rather than crash dieting. I have a very muscular frame, so I suppose I should be focusing more on getting my body fat percentage down than my actual weight. But in any case, there's lots of lifters and runners on here that don't really need to lose - so don't ever feel like you're alone!
  • I just joined and am trying to loose a bit of weight. I just changed jobs from a rather hectic but energetic waitressing job to a sit down office one. The lack of physical activity throughout the day is already driving me crazy and I don't really want to know what its doing to my basic daily caloric requirements. I'm here to mitigate disaster and to try to improve my cardiovascular fitness and flexibility. It would be great to share the challenges that come with regularly trying to work out!
