I am looking for a HRM, I have been researching all types. All I really need it to do is track heart rate and calories burned.

What brand and type of HRM do you use?

Thanks!!!

I've been using a Polar FT7 for more than a year and I really like it. It does what you describe: track heart rate, apply a formula to that heart rate to estimate calories burned. I got it for around $80 shipped via Amazon.com.

I wouldn't get anything but a Polar (or Garmin if you're a runner), personally. The Polar FT4 is slightly more basic than the FT7 (stores fewer sessions), the FT40 and FT60 have more features (including a fit test to more accurately determine calories burned).
