Somewhat of a success story and needing a good kick!

I'm a FP success story... Well more like a chapter book really and there has been a big break between chapters! Didn't log on for at least 3 months and figured that friends I'd made from before had probably long since moved on so I've deleted them. No insults intended! (Made many of them through challenges etc...)
I lost a heap of weight from September to November last year then kept going but at a more reasonable rate for a few months. Towards the end of June/July I was getting worried about what to wear to work because I'd chucked out all my fat clothes and didn't fit the thin ones either anymore - I'm a comfort/exhaustion eater!... Not talking drastic weight gain, just 3 or 4 kg. Now... In the old days that was a splash in the ocean! When you're down to a size 10 or 12 (UK) and it ALL collects on your saddlebags... That's a problem!
It's been 'impossible' for me to go to gym - we moved house and I lost my gym bag somewhere in the move. You just can't go to gym without a gym bag!!!! (Seriously, moving house, assignments, end of term... ... ... Just couldn't manage.)
Just been on holiday in France (I live in Essex, UK) - it was glorious! Ate cheese and wine and more cheese and you guessed it, had to wash it down with something so it was baguette and more wine! I'm now up about a stone!!!! (7kg) :drinker:
Hubby just found my gym bag - yes, the HRM is still in it! :noway:
I'm guessing this means I will have to not just log food anymore but I'll have to get my backside back on that treadmill!
Things I've learned about myself:
FP has changed my awareness of foods. When I was scoffing down that cheese and pouring the wine down my throat I knew what I was doing. It was a concious decision and I knew I'd be back to 'normal' healthier eating again after the hols.
I always knew I was a comfort eater - just didn't realise HOW much comfort I needed!
Boy can I pack it away when I'm tired!!! (And there is NO reasoning with myself!)
I'm a teacher, during term time, especially at the end of term I'm good to maintain - I can't do much more than that... Too stressed with other stuff.
I did try to do some road 'running' - more like a shuffle, even whilst not logging etc... I find too many excuses to do other things though!
The next chapter:
I'm back!
Although it was great to have friends I found sometimes that people were patronising whilst trying to be supportive. If I've burned 50cal doing a leisurely walk, that's not a 'good burn'!!! That's lazy and I need to move my *kitten*! The journed is FAR more fun with friends! (Unless of course my intention was for a leisurely walk!)
I'd like to lose 10kg, just to feel what it's like to be a bit lean for a change! (I've always been 'big boned'... - looking at the size of my wrists now, I don't believe a word of it!)
Now a question:
If I log that I've put on weight and lose it again over the next few months then it will say that I've lost double the weight - hope this makes sense. How do I make the graph NOT do that? Or do I just not add the weight to my graph and 'remember' until I'm back to where I was? (It's not that much because I lost some more although I didn't log it here.)

Welcome back! You can add the weight you've gained and MFP will just subract it from what it says you've already lost. I had to add a few lbs back last week. It just made my total lbs lost lower, and now I'm almost back to where I was.
Congrats on your previous weight loss, and good luck with the rest of your journey!0 -
