Hey Everyone

I am having one of those days today it seems. I have been incorporating Paleo into my lifestyle for about a month now. It has definitely been a challenge but I really am enjoying it. This past weekend I sort of fell off the wagon. I had family in town and caved in to long island ice teas and delicious food. So, today when I woke up, I felt as if I had a food hangover. My stomach was NOT happy with me. Today I feel groggy and even worse...I feel snacky...which I know I am not hungry but I still am. I am doing good though. I don't have any snacky foods here at work and warmed up some lemon green tea. I am looking forward to excercising tonight because I think it will help me snap out of it but dreading it at the same time because I just want to take a nap. Because this past weekend was bad, I am trying to stay under 30g of carbs to get back to where I was. This means I will be tired the next few days while my body gets used to it again.

There really is no point to this blog but I am just ranting because it is frustrating. It seems that the weekends are my worst enemies and I have to start at Step 1 all over again! It is very frustrating and so thanks for letting me vent!

I hear you on that. I've been craving carbs lately. I did really good on not eating a bunch of junky carbs. Today I went over on carbs because of fruit and whole grains, which I hear is better than going over on junky carbs.

You can do it, one day at a time! :flowerforyou:

    Lindsay,
This is always my biggest problem! My fiance and I went to a show this weekend and I drank 5 beers! That's an extra 550 calories, more than a meal. Yuck. Plus, beer is not healthy for my body, either. Now my family is in town this week and they are going to want to go out to dinner every night. Argh... :explode:
