Runners - What's your fastest mile?

I've been running a lot more lately and even back in my high school days, I was never ever able to run a mile nonstop. After about 2 1/2 weeks of running, I was able to run a mile nonstop. Yay, me!
I'm not satisfied with my time just yet but it's a work in progress. I'm at 11 minutes and I'm hoping to get it down to 10:30 by the end of this week.
Slow and steady wins the race!

Great job! Keep adding the mileage and your time will naturally improve along with it. Completed my first 5K in a little over 11 min miles and can now do it in 9 1/2.0

You can do it! I notice that I run much faster in the evening than in the morning... I probably look like a zombie scooting along in the morning (I hit between 8-10 mins) but in the evening, when I take my dog (who likes to sprint) I can make it in 6. The first time I thought my watch was broken!0
