Hello,

Today I have eaten about as much if not MORE than usual, however I have just been STARVING all day. Literally I just can't seem to get unhungry. Do you know why this is happening? Do you have any suggestions if this happens to you?

What should I do in order to not ruin my day of healthy eating but not starve?

drink, drink, drink. Not sure exactly WHAT you've eaten, but I find that the healthier I eat the more frequently I am hungry and I'm talking full meal hungry. The more fiber and protein dense the foods you eat, the longer they stay with you. I'm learning, though, that unless my stomach is growling, I'm actually thirsty and pounding some fluids usually resolves the "hunger" and I'm good to go.

That happens to me every once in a while. And on those days I make sure to drink a ton of water - your body can fool you into thinking that you are hungry when you are thirsty instead. And if I am still hungry - I eat. Good stuff. No junk. I only have a day like that every couple months, so eating a bunch in one day isn't gonna kill you.

It happens. Today is one of those days. I had a very active day Sunday, so I'm working on the theory that my body is trying to catch up. I've also been a little under the weather, so maybe my body needs food to fight whatever I got. Either way...the way I see it my body is telling me something. I'm going to eat making sure it is good quality food, and have resigned myself I'll be a little over today.

Happens to me! I read somewhere, eating, or exercising all have a delayed effect on our body. People don't see weight loss immediately or don't feel starved right after going on a strict diet but eventually our body will catch up? I am not sure where I read this...so please don't quote me.

Oh that might make sense. I had a really active day yesterday, and maybe my body was still lacking. Honestly, I was just confused because I HAVE been pounding the water, and tea, and ate protein / fiber rich foods for all of my meals and I just feel like a bottomless pit...
