Wisdom Teeth Surgery - After Diet

I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled on Monday and I have heard that for some time after I'm on a basically "soft food" diet. Or something of that nature. Any ideas on what I can eat/drink to keep my calories close to my goal as well as get all the other nutrients I need? I'm pretty sure working out won't be an option for the first 3-4 days so I don't want to accept this as a chance to sneak on ice cream.

Fat free sherbert might be good and no sugar added applesauce! Maybe a protein drink of some sort.

That was my first thought actually was protein drinks. But since I won't be working out for a few days as I'm sure pain killer high will not mix with gym equipment, or the gym, I don't want to take in TOO much protein. I was also thinking soup, but there's a ton of sodium in most them.

    Applesauce is a def. :)
