MFP calorie setting

Anybody know the formula MFP uses to calculate the calorie goal? I'm down to 1680 (I'm 6' 2" and 264lbs)...and that's below my basal rate (whatever that's called). I'm losing well, so I'm not complaining. Actually, I'm losing 2.5 to 3lbs a week, which is faster than the goal I put in of 2lbs.
When I put my info into several other sites, they would set a much higher daily calorie limit, even with the 2lb a week goal.
Thing is, I'm consistently eating more than my calories. I'm averaging 1800-2100 calories a day for eating, but 1200-1500 net after exercise. But I put in my expected exercise when I set my goals.
Thoughts?

MFP goes by TDEE at sedimentary and then subracts however many calories needed to achieve your weight loss goal regardless of your BMR.
It is a good idea to add exercise and thus eat more so you can at least net your BMR while maintaining weight loss.
Remember, weight loss is not always all fat loss.0
