WHAT ARE THE PROS AND CONS WHEN EATING TOO MUCH PROTEIN SPECIFICALLY FOR WEIGHT LOSS. HOW MUCH PROTEIN SHOULD A PERSON CONSUME DAILY. ANY TIPS ON FOODS TO EAT THAT ARE FILLING AND NOT HEAVY IN PROTEIN?

I'll still say that as long as you have no pre-existing conditions, there really isn't a problem with too much protein. Look at the millions of Atkins people. It's generally spouted that you should get at least your lean body mass in g of protein (If you weigh 150 and are 25% body fat, you have 150*(1-.25)=112.5 lb lean mass, so you should aim for that many grams of protein at least). The reason most commonly spouted is that this will ensure there is sufficient protein such that your body doesn't degrade your muscles. I haven't seen actual literature to this effect, which is why I'm expressing it as opinion rather than fact.
