OMG DIET

Anyone tried out the OMG DIET? I started reading it yesterday and it makes a lot of sense. First day today only 80 g of carbs and I feel amazing!

I dunno. My parents bought the book, read it, and told me that it's the most stupid, unhealthy thing they've ever read.

I just did a quick Google. I don't trusr diet plans that don't let me eat fruits. LOL
And it said you can't eat for 3 hours after you wake up!? That won't work here.

It doesn't make any sort of logical, scientific, or evidence-based sense.

As active as you are, with such limited carbs, not sure where you will get the energy to fuel your active lifestyle. Please be careful. I really think you would do much better just eating good, clean, whole foods and not eliminating anything from your diet.

OMG is a good name for it. I read this much and really did not need to look any further:

Dieters must exercise first thing in the morning, after drinking black coffee and before eating any food, to boost the nervous system and kick-start the body into burning fat.

The diet plan states you must not eat for the next three hours so that the body is forced to burn stored fat.

Dieters are then told to sit in a cold bath to encourage the body to burn stored fat as it tries to keep warm.

Fruit must be ditched and carbohydrates limited but plenty of protein is allowed.

Just a word of caution: Most of these diets "make sense" when you read a book written by zealots for the diet.
