My son is 4 months old and I really need some support and motivation to work off the weight in a healthy way as I'm breastfeeding and dont want my weight loss to affect him. Would love other new moms to celebrate, commiserate and chat with as I work on this!

Oh pick me! I have a 4 month old who I am EBF. I plan to BF as long as I can. I haven't really done too much as far as exercise goes, but I have made sure to watch my calories and sugar. (Big sugar addict here) I go on walks with my little guy strapped to my chest every now and again, but I seem to still have a hard time with timing and schedules. It's been 4 weeks since I joined MFP and through diet alone (pretty much) I've lost 7lbs.0

Hello,
I am no longer breast feeding, but I did use MFP for about a month when I was. I found that I could eat around 1600 -1700 calories and still lose weight and produce milk. I actually stopped using MFP because I had come down with an infection in my breast. My doctor thought it may have been brought on from extra stress.... and I think sometimes when I was working out I would ignore how full they actually were. So my advice is ease into working out and eating less. Listen to your body. And have fun, MFP is great.0
