i started out strong, and i am still doing well. the problem is since i have had sucess i see myself becoming lax.
i am still working out regularly and logging everyday, but i am not working out has hard as i once was and i have been indulging in my earned calories....i am not as strict as i once was cuz i think to myself, hey i can eat this i worked out this morning...
so the question is......."how do i get back to the motivation level i once was when i began?"
i only lost 4 pounds in july, i was loosing 10 pounds per month...
what should i do?

Go back to your first love!! Change your workout routine to something new and exciting. Chose a new recipe to try each week. Buy different foods at the grocery store so you aren't tempted to cheat just because you're bored with your food. Buy fitness magazines and read them front to back! Look at clothes online that you would love to buy... especially workout clothes. In fact, buy something pretty to workout in! Buy treats that you can work into your calories for the day... like skinny cow ice cream... I had the mint ice cream bar today and it was fabulous for 100 calories! Make a parfait with greek yogurt and strawberries, raspberries and blackberries... feels like dessert but so healthy! Reward yourself with non-food goodies... pedicure at the salon, expensive running socks, hair-bands, lip-gloss.... whatever you like, just don't eat your rewards! Hey, you're doing great! And I always find that encouraging someone else always ends up encouraging me as well! Add me as a friend if you'd like.

I keep motivated by looking at my profile picture! There is a constant reminder of how far I have come and how much healthier and better I feel. I am not at my goal weight yet... still would like to lose another 30 pounds or so.... but I still remember how tired I was all the time and I am so not going back to being tired of being tired!0

I read this and felt like maybe I need to add something. But weighed in this morning and gained 4lbs---very disappointed right now! As you, I lost and was going strong but now same routine no results! I'm under my calorie count, doing different exercises, and watching what I eat. My husband has been motivating me and encouraging, just not the same. So if you guys have any additional re motivation tips I would GREATLY appreciate it! Thank you!0

I love all of these ideas!!!
THIS.... "whatever you like, just don't eat your rewards!" Is def something for me to think about. Great advice, makes me want to buy some new workout clothes this weekend!! lol0 -
I'm in the same boat...I did so well the first half of the year, but I feel like I've lost my diet mojo. Still working out, but I can't get my eating under control. I think I know the culprit....whenever I have a visit scheduled with my dad (he lives across the country), it seems to stress me out and puts me into food overload. So...I think I know the cause, I just need to figure out a way to combat it!
And love the ideas posted above. Thanks!0 -
Plan an event or vacation for which you'd like to look fit and sexy - for me, it's going to Hawaii in September and a wedding in October where I'm a bridesmaid. Oh, and definitely nice workout gear if you can afford it. Get good running shoes, a good HRM, and a couple brightly colored sports bras and tank tops.0
