YES! USA Women's Gymnastic's won GOLD!!!!! Was sitting here playing a game and jumped out of my chair, tripped over the dog, stepped on a shoe, and stubbed my toe on the coffee table just to see the medal ceremony when I heard the American National Anthem playing. It was so worth it.

No need to tell me I'm a clutz. I already know.

    Men's swimming got Gold too. I have the tv on in the living room while I am on my laptop in the dining room. It gives me a serious natural high when I hear the American National Anthem booming from my tv knowing that the American team took another Gold Medal.

    Looks like China is showing the US how to win gold.
    Glad I'm not emotionally staked in my countries quest cos we only have one
    Still rather live here though.

    Oh China is kicking the crud out of all the other countries in Gold. I agree. But I just can't get enough of hearing the American National Anthem and seeing the American Athletes standing on the podium with the Gold around their necks.

    Ahhh spoiler! I should just stay away from the Olympics threads. I'm in California, so the nightly highlights come on pretty late
