Not really a NSV but a victory nonetheless.

This isn't really about my weight loss, but my mom told me today (she is obese and has been since I was born. She has a pretty bad hip and has tried Weight Watchers and other similar programs) that my new way of eating has affected her own eating and she's putting in some effort too.
I tried pushing the topic and asked if she knew what her BMR was, so that she doesn't eat below that. She said she had no idea but it was probably sky high. I told her, "It's not allowed to be that high," and she laughed.
But she said every time she loses weight, even 20 lbs, it doesn't make a difference. So I'm thinking she's actually not getting enough calories in. (I would guess shes about 250lb..? 5'3)

But anyway! Victory! My own journey is inspiring my mom!
