Taking my scale away from myself

Anyone else ever had to do this to yourself? I weighed in this morning and I've decided to take the scale away from myself for the month of August. I get way too wrapped up in the small number changes day to day despite knowing that there is natural fluctuation. I have been feeling pretty stuck in a 3lb window for about a month and just need a break from the number on the scale. I'm going to focus only on my diet and exercise and listening to how my body feels and hope for a nice surprise on September 1st. Or at least a mental break from the unhealthy relationship with the scale and create a happy healthy one with the more important changes I'm making.
