I read posts on here and take SOME of the advice. I did the whole "eat your exercise calories back" thing & that did NOT work for ME...I gained 4lbs in the time that I did that. So, I go back to what has always worked for me...burn more than you take in. I exercise at least 2 hours a day...LOADS of cardio & some strength training. Two weeks - I lost 6lbs. Cool. Week three - I kept doing the same thing, cardio, cardio, cardio & some strength, same foods & the scale is UP 3lbs.. Week four - working out the same, lots of cardio- closer attention to foods & the scale is UP again, this time 2lbs. I've had two trainers & they PUSH cardio & I've always done cardio to lose excess weight. My husband says - you are doing the wrong exercises...walking & all that cardio just works on your legs - not your midsection. (Yes - obviously he is NOT a personal trainer!)
I'm getting fed up. I know what I'm doing as far as foods AND exercising and the scale keeps going up. Some people say "you're gaining muscle"...that's not it either b/c my clothes are just getting tighter & tighter & NOT in a good way! Ready to just say - to hell with this!
