Weigh In wear

I made the mistake of getting my starting weight on a scale at work.
There seems to be a lot of variation in my weight based on what I wear to work and what I ate or drank for breakfast.
I have a scale for home and can weigh myself before my shower which will be way more accurate from here out.
My issue is it will look as if I had a huge loss this week when its just that Im not wearing work clothes to weigh in.
Has anyone done this before? What did you do?

In the long run, this one weigh in will not be a big deal...
Oops, meant to add my story. The starting weight on my ticker is from when I joined WW in Jan 2010. Like yours, this was a mid day weigh in with clothes on. About six months later, I started tracking on my own and weighed myself at home in the morning, pre-shower sans clothes. Didn't even give this quick weight loss a second thought because I knew why it happened and I still had plenty of weight to lose.
And technically, my starting weight was 260 at home but I have no idea what date it was when that number showed up so I don't want to account for it. Better to be as accurate as I can and use the WW starting weight eventhough it does include the 1-3 pounds of clothes and food.
You know why it happened and that's all that matters...no one's being cheated or fooled.0 -
You can change your starting weight - to help come up with a number I would take the clothes you usually wear to work and put them on the scale, then and a pound to a pound and a half for the difference between a.m. weight and afternoon weight (assuming you weighed in the afternoon the first time.) Or you can just let it slide - if you aren't in a competition for money, I would just adjust for the clothes and be consistant about using the home scale, pre-shower from now on.0
