I understand that you choose to eat this way for various reasons. I get that you believe it to be a healthier alternative to what others are doing. I just don't understand why the need for supplements. I understand we all should be taking a multivitamin, but why all the other supplements? Are they to replace what is lost when you take out grains and legumes?

I am also wondering how beans are bad for you? When they have so many great benefits.

How is this good for my diverticulitis?

How do you handle the expense? You see we have 6 children, I don't think it could work for us.

Not all primal/paleo ppl take supplements....I choose not to. It makes no sense to me that I'm avoiding processed food to eat a protien powder...BUT thats MY opinion. I started by avoiding grains then realised my body feels better without them. I also tried avoiding dairy, main issue for me was the hormones in milk (even if it's a myth...I thought it cant hurt) within a month a skin condition I had since childhood began to clear up. It was at that point I thought theres something to this...for me anyways!
there is a really great site http://whole9life.com/start/ that can answer more questions for you!
As for cost and value..I can get a weeks worth of salad fixins for the husband and I for the same amount of 1 meal for us at a fast food restaraunt....=)
