MLB Game... What to eat?

Tonight the Braves are playing the Marlins and I am fortunate enough to attend the game. The only problem is, we are eating dinner there. I don't know how I should go about doing this and I really don't wanna ruin my diet. Is there anyone who might know how many calories are in, let's say, some nachos at any sporting event, so that I may be able to get an estimate? If so, Thanks in advance. I need the help.

GRACIE :)

How about a hot dog or a burger. That might help you stay fuller instead of nachos which I would imagine is probably around the same calories. I can't help you with calories on those items but it might be easier to calculate a hot dog or burger on here. I'll be doing the same thing on Sunday with going to the sox game and the worst part is we're doing an all you can eat and drink before the game at the patio. I might splurge on a glass of wine there but it'll be hard when there is fried chicken, ribs, etc. So we'll see! Maybe adding in some extra workouts will help you out too to balance those extra calories.

I always stick with a hot dog or two. Sure they're made of god knows what, but like amonroe said they're a better option than nachos. I typically buy a small bag of peanuts and eat those throughout the game too.

Or make this a cheat day and go wild tonight. Then tomorrow jump back on the strict bandwagon. As long as you don't walk out of there having eaten 2 dogs, a thing of nachos, cotton candy and 6 beers I'd say you'll be able to make up for it.

a burger or hot dog is my go too. get to the ball park early and walk around the tailgaters, then when you get inside the park take the long way around to find your seats and use the steps if possible!!!! we do a lot of walking around before the game starts.
  • That sounds a lot better actually, thank y'all! I guess you are right. Hot dogs would be better. And with all the walking around, I might be able to burn half a hot dog off! Again, Thank y'all sooo much! :)

The last time I went to a ball game I split a massive order of nachos that were more topping than chip, washed down with a ice cold beer, then split a funnel cake. I gave Not One *kitten* about how many calories were in it. It was worth it.

That being said, speaking specifically for the Colorado ball park, they now offer gluten-free, chicken wraps, salads, and smoothies, so it's possible you can get healthier fare at your park, just check their website.

They also have veggie hotdogs and burgers at that stadium. Always a thought!
    Have fun! Go Braves!
