    Come Christmas time I'll be blaring the Alvin song.. maybe the Mr. will get the hint and hook me up with a hullllla hooop :)

    I'm in! My goal is 50 miles this month. I'm starting a program to train for a 10K...but i'm going to start with walking so I don't do too much too soon.

    I did the same thing. :( I did so good Jan - April and then... nada. I did about 45 miles in March and 65 in April then sat around for the past few. I did 3 miles today and it. was. ROUGH.

    It will get easier! :heart:

    I would love to join! Since I haven't walked or even exercised much all summer I will have a goal of 30 miles this month.

    I'm going to bump mine to 40 miles
    3.5 miles in today, 30.5 miles to go.

    I just saw this and I really needed a "goal" so I am in for 40 miles for this month. My treadmill will get some use again :) I have been stuck at this number for about a month so hopefully this will help get over this stall.

    I'm in. I already have 2 miles in from yesterday's gym time :) but im only in for 30 miles.

    I'm in. I ran 2.57 miles today, however, this is only the 3d time that I've been out to run in the last 6 months. I'm trying to get back into running as well ~ it does amazing & wonderful things to my body when I run! I had a baby in January so I have about 40 lbs. to lose! I am going to challenge myself to do 25 miles this month. If I succeed then I'll go up for next month. Good Luck everyone.

    Okay I am not a runner but I need a challenge to get me going. I can NEVER figure out how to breath when I run. I get soooo out of breath but I want to accept this challenge. I could do a mile or two a day just by walking. Since my challenge is to work out for 60 minutes a day at least for the next three months to get my body back in the mode of exercising since I am such a slacker. So I need all the encouragement I can get.
    I did 40 minutes in cycling class today.

    Thanks for the support girls :) I'm loving walking, and actually woke up at 5am pumped to get out there and do my walk before it got too hot out. I NEVER in a million years thought I'd be a morning person looking forward to exercise!

    8/1 - .45mi 27min
    8/2 - .45mi 24min

    Total - .9mi
    Goal - 15mi

    I'm getting quicker ^_^ small improvement!

    I love it! I'm in for 30. I did 2 miles on Wednesday, so I have 28 more to go! I use Leslie Sansone's WATP DVDs.

    Im training for a 10k in order to get back into shape. I think a good goal for me would be 60 miles this month. I try to go jogging and walking 3 times a week or more. Im thinking of adding 2 pound weights to my workout.

    8/1: 3 miles jogging/walking
    8/2: 3miles jogging/walking; 2 miles walking

    8 miles down 52 to go! :happy:

    Welcome! Glad to have you with us. :) Nice job in cycling class. That sounds like fun, I wonder if the gym near me has cycling classes :)

    Sounds like everyone is off to a great start.

    I walked 3.5 Miles today. I think I'd be walking less if it wasn't for this challenge in the back of my mind the whole time :happy:
