Has anyone else given up the scale?? I found it to be a good tool in the beginning as you see pounds start to drop…but soon realized that it’s just a number and not necessarily a goal anymore to be my “Ideal” weight. My goal is to Look and feel good and I don’t think a number on the scale with make either of those happen. I have looked more to the mirror and the fit of my clothes to measure progress/maintenance. Anyone else??

I'll typically step on the scale a couple times a month. But i track my progress by hitting PRs and just seeing how things change in the mirror. The scale is pretty irrelevant for the most part.

I used to weigh myself every two weeks, but I did measurements at the same time. This was during my initial "drop weight" phase. After I hit 20 lbs. lost, I've progressed into weight training rather than strict cardio- I only do the measurements every two-three weeks.

I know I'm gaining lbs. (equating to muscle :drinker: ), but my measurements are still improving (and I'm still dropping clothing sizes), which is the the aim.
