New Me

The older we get, the harder it is to lose weight. However, I'm finding that, even at age 68,exercise can build muscle and create a waist where one did not exist before. The exercise is physical therapy due to some arthritis and muscle weakness in the lower spine but the results so far have inspired me to work even harder to reach my goal to be healthy and strong. I don't want to turn into a helpless old lady. With me, the amount of food consumed is not the issue. Much of the time, it's what I choose to eat. I would like to get into the habit of using my alloted calories on healthy stuff.
