I went to my friends Turbo Kick class last night for the first time. It was, she was, *I* was intense! I mean we worked our behinds off for 1 hour straight! it was awesome! I felt like such a rockstar.
Today on the other hand, I am feeling it. Feeling it in places I didnt feel it before. I think this validates the importance of group classes in addition to at home / individual gym workouts.
I think I am going to make this a weekly thing (even though the drive is like 40 minutes). Anyone else do Turbo Kick classes?

I went to a handful and I felt like I was going to die the next day every time. I loved the intensity of the workout, but I felt that the instructor I had moved through explaining the moves too quickly and as I am really not coordinated and struggled. I also had a hard time because it is a very popular class at my gym, so the room was a little too full to have enough space for all the moves. I was almost punched and kicked several times. I might still drop in occasionally though if I feel I am in a rut with my workouts. Good for you for planning on sticking to it! It really is a great class!0

I love TurboKick! 40 minutes is a long time to drive but I've done it before for a class and I never regret it. I always have the best burns! I'm a newly certified TK instructor and I can't wait to teach it, hopefully, I'll have participants as dedicated as you.0

This class makes ME want to become a TK instructor! I need to work my butt off and work my way up to it. (I have only been doing it for a little over 5 weeks now)... but my plan is when BOTH my kids are in school (I only have 1 going to kindergarten this year and the other is only 2) to be a fully certified TK instructor!.0 -
Oh my, yes!! We have a lot of classes at the different Y locations where I live, with awesome instructors (one of the instructors here is even in the Turbofire dvds and is friends with Chalene Johnson, the creator of Turbo), and I usually go five days a week! I love how often they change the rounds so you don't get bored, and the intensity is awesome. I never wanted to go because I was comfortable with the machines, but one day I went and I've been regularly going for over a year now. I'm hooked!!0
