I have always been pretty heavy my entire adult life. I'm about 6 feet tall, and in high school I weighed in the 190-200lb range. I have a pretty large bone structure so while I was always never petite, I never really felt fat unless I was surrounded by my teeny friends in their bikinis and size 2s. I finally lost weight when I went off to college, and I did not do it healthily. I tried to do it the healthy way- eat better, work out, but didn't like the results I saw, so I started to purge on occasion and fast on nothing but coffee and water. I think the lowest I got was about 165.
Then I turned 21, started working full time and focusing on my schoolwork and it all went downhill from there. I did not only fail to maintain my weight, but I gained almost 70lbs. I graduated college weighing over 230lbs. Since then, I have lost over 40lbs and I am currently about 192. I've gone down almost 3 pant sizes and everyone is noticing my results. Although my diet is not perfect, I am very good at remaining in my calories goals and getting better at hitting my macros.

I also work out like a crazy person. I try to make my workouts about 60% cardio and 40% strength. My typical workout will be running a few miles, and then doing some circuit training, like Jillian Michaels DVDs or even an Insanity workout. I am in REALLY good shape for someone of my size.

My question is- has anyone lost weight two different times, and used different methods to do so and seen different results? I ask this because at 192, I feel like I look almost as good as I did when I weighed 180. My goal weight is 165-170 range again, but now that I have more lean muscle mass, I have a feeling that will look drastically different than the first time I weighed that much.

I know one thing...as you get older..your body compositon changes and many people look better with more weight. That's just my opinion.
