So i did the 'learn and burn' dvd last night.. its only 15 minutes of chalene basically teaching the 11 moves and then a quick 15 minute workout. I must say about half the moves are really basic and easy to do but the other half i do not have figured out yet! I'm probably going to do it a few more times before moving on to the real dvds because i dont want to waste my time doing it wrong.
Anyone else feel a bit frustrated at first with this? I guess i've only done it once so i won't beat myself up but i'm probably going to be pausing and practicing quite a bit before i really get coordinated enough to do arms and leg movements at the same time! haha

Hi
I did Turbo Jam and lost weight VERY quickly... It is amazing once you catch on to the moves... they are a little tricky especially if you are uncoordinated (like me LOL)... I love Turbo Jam because the work-outs seem to go really fast and it doesn't even feel like it is a work-out but it does work.... and if I can do it anyone can...LOL
I hope that you are able to stick it out because you will see amazing results....
Good Luck...

I like that but I got kind of bored with it and have not looked at Turbo for a while. I need to get back to it among the Pallaties, and 20 other videos I have. For me I have the fitness down but the food control is my problem to overcome. I have been biking, walking, and swimming and my latest is the Rebounder trampoline that is the easiest and burns tons of calories in a short time.0 -
o i've wanted to try a mini trampoline for a while and weighted hula hoops. i wanna stick with turbo jam for a bit though on it's own and see how that works out.
the trampoline just seems so mindless i could probably just do it watching tv0 -
Turbo Jam is great...I love it!! At first it seems overwhelming to learn so many moves, but it gets better. Plus, they use all of those moves over and over with just a slightly different routine. Once you get those basics down, you can do just about any Turbo Jam DVD. If you have a long mirror in your house that is portable...put it so you can see yourself doing the moves. Sometimes it is easier to feel comfortable doing the moves if you can see yourself doing it!
But, trust me...once you get the "Twist" and the "Jabs" and the "Speedbags" and the "Wheels" down... you will use them over and over and over....and every routine after that will seem easy! Way to go!
The thing I love about Turbo Jam is that you get results over the entire body, stomach, legs, arms...its a full body workout!! Enjoy and stick with it!!0 -
I just bought it too and tried it once and it was pretty good, but I am not that coordinated so I will have to do it a few times too. It looks like it is going to be fun though. I found that the gloves did not fit all that good though. I cannot wait to start some of the other tapes. I am trying to add variety to my workouts so I don't get topo bored. With the cold weather-I am not as excited about going out for walks.
I also bought a mini trampoline and a hoola hoop. If anything; it will be entertaining.0 -
my daughter barrowed the gloves so not sure where they went. I do have the weighted hula hoop that is so fun. My kids can't do it since it is too heavy and big but I can stand there for an hour and hula hoop while talking and watching TV that and the trampoline are my latest favorites. I need to get that Turbo Jam back out again since it is fun too....0

My hoola hoop has water in it for weight and it is so much fun-it is the cheapest exercise equipment I have ever bought. I had a couple of treats at work today so I am going to have to work out tonight during Greys Anatomy. I love being able to do exercises and get caught up on my favorite shows an the same time.0
