I'd like to lose between 30-70 pounds, 70 at the absolute most...I'm 5"2.5...Considering my BMI and weight now, 65 pounds is the amount of weight that I would have to lose to put me at a 24.9 BMI (the highest to be considered healthy) ...however, although this loss will come with time and I will have to see...I sometimes feel like that much of a loss would make me look sickly considering my body type...so basically I'm wondering, would I just absolutely not be considered "healthy" if my BMI was in the overweight zone? Even if I felt healthy, continued working out, and was eating great?

The guy above me nailed it. BMI can be a helpful general guideline but using it as your primary method of selecting a goal weight probably isn't the healthiest option. My current height/weight has me slightly underweight according to BMI but my body fat % is totally healthy (19% or so, so really I am shooting to drop it while adding muscle).
Pick a clothing size and body fat % to shoot for. Good luck.0 -
Just for reference...I'm "obese" in my profile picture here...0
