Intro

Hey!
Im Alisa. Im 24 & I live in Monroe, La. Ive been battling with my weight for about 4 years. Ive never been that skinny kid and ive never wanted to be. One day I was visiting a friend at her campus and i realized that i was really struggling to get up the 3 flights of stairs that she was effortless climbing. After that i went to the doctor and realized on top of having asmatha i had high cholesteral. This is when i made the decison to cut out sodas. My friends and I started walking a couple times a week and i got my cholesteral down in no time. two years ago i got a membership to Anytime Fitness. I really did not have any idea who to really workout. I would go and spend hours in the gym but i would work to burn off the 3/4 cookies i had that day. I fell in love with Zumba classes. But depending on who taught them i would not show up or just leave. I go thru these times where i lose 20 and then gain 20 or more. right now i am the heaviest i have ever been in my life. I am getting married in 39 days and i just want to lose 10-15 more lbs. Then i want to get down to a comfortable weight because the weight that i "should" be at is wayy to small in my opinion. (120-154) I want to make friends here because support can help do amazing things!

    Alisa, I soo know what you mean. I "should" be between 98 and 105 pounds! For me that just seems crazy! I am only 4'10 but still when I was my lowest weight at 130, I had bones sticking out all over. lol I can't imagin how I'd look at 98. MY goal wight is 135/140 when I was that size I felt good and I think I looked good also. In the end it's all about being healthy and happy with yourself.
